Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supervision and work discipline on employee performance. This research was conducted at the class IIA penitentiary in Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques in this study were field observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis method was carried out descriptively using a simple linier regression tool with data processing techniques using smartPLS 3.0. The number of samples in this study were 65 people using a purposive sampling technique. The result of this study indicate that supevision and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Pekanbaru Class IIA Penitentiary employees simultaneously.
