Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between quarterlife crisis and marital satisfaction in young couples. In this study researchers used quantitative methods. The total population in this study was 140 young couples, with a total sample of 104 respondents. In this study, researchers used a non-probability sampling method, namely purposive sampling. Data collection tools for independent variables were measured using the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction scale based on the scale developed by Fowers and Olsom adapted by Herawati with 15 items. while for the dependent variable it is measured using the Herawati and Hidayat adaptation scale with 27 items. The results of data analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation technique. Based on the results of this research analysis, it can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between quarterlife crisis and marital satisfaction in young couples. The higher the quarterlife crisis, the lower the marital satisfaction, conversely, the lower the quarterlife crisis, the higher the marital satisfaction of young couples.
