Abstract
Divorce in young marriages cannot be separated from emotional maturity in adolescents, often emotional maturity is one of the reasons for divorce in young married couples. Kampar regency is one of the areas where researchers find subjects who meet the criteria in the study. Researchers found that most of the divorce cases occurred to minors, namely at the age of 19-22 years when they decided to marry, this cannot be separated from the views of the people who think marriage is better done in order to avoid being talked about by the local community. However, it cannot be denied that divorce in young married couples often occurs, this is due to the child`s emotional immaturity. It`s no wonder that couples who are immature emotionally can only carry out a marriage for about 2 years. The phenomenon of divorce due to emotional immaturity is very common, even outside of Kampar Regency. The research subjects in this researcher were 3 people, consisting of 2 women who were widows and 1 man who was a widower. They are victims of divorce in marriage at a young age. Which in the research process researchers bring several tools such as voice recorders, booklets, pens and other tools to facilitate the interview process and also observation during the research.
