Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-acceptance and happiness in orphanage adolescents. Self-acceptance and happiness can be said that self-acceptance is closely related to one's happiness. This data collection method uses a self-acceptance scale consisting of 30 appropriate items and a happiness scale consisting of 29 items. The sample in this study was 60 adolescents from the Al-Hidayah orphanage who were obtained through a purposive non- random sampling method. The data analysis method used in this study is the Likert scale. The results of statistical analysis show that there is a positive relationship between self-acceptance and happiness in adolescents at the Al-Hidayah orphanage.
