Abstract
Employees who work generally have their own endurance or hardiness with various conditions that will be faced and will assist employees in dealing with burnout that occurs. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between hardiness personality and burnout among PT. Angkasa Pura Cargo Sultan Syarif Qasim Pekanbaru. The sample in this study amounted to 72 employees who worked at PT. Angkasa Pura Cargo Sultan Syarif Qasim Pekanbaru. The reliability value in this study is on the hardiness scale, which is 0.860 and on the burnout scale, which is 0.911. The sampling technique is using the Probability Sampling method with the Random Sampling technique. The data collection method is the hardiness scale by Widaputri (2020) with a total of 15 items and modified to 30 items, and the burnout scale by Intan Aulia (2018) with a total of 45 items. The data analysis method used was Pearson Product Moment and the results obtained were a correlation coefficient r of = -0.643 with a p of 0.000 (p <0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between hardiness personality and burnout, where the higher the hardiness the lower the burnout, and vice versa.
