Abstract
Employees have diverse needs. These needs are physical and non-physical that must be met. In doing work that is full of pressure, employees must be patient in dealing with existing work pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between patience and job satisfaction of building. X in Pekanbaru. The research subjects were 60 people using saturated sampling technique. The data collection method used is the patience scale based on Subandi's theory (2010) and the job satisfaction scale adapted from Admeski (2020). The data analysis method uses SEM PLS with SmartPLS 3.0 M3. The results in this study found that patience has a positive and significant relationship with job satisfaction in employees with a path coefficient value of the relationship between patience and job satisfaction of -0.401 with a p value of 0.000 <0.05 and a t value of 2.168. This value is greater than t table for n = 60 and k = 2 is 1.97. Because t count 2.168 > t table 1.97. So it is concluded that patience has a positive and significant relationship with job satisfaction, so the hypothesis is accepted. This means that the higher the level of patience, the higher the job satisfaction of employees. Vice versa, the lower the level of patience, the lower the job satisfaction of employees.
