Abstract
Achieving life satisfaction and happiness is something everyone wants, including students. However, in reality some students have problems in responding to the demands of assignments and developments, changes in various aspects of their lives, and adjustment to the environment. This is related to subjective well-being. Social support is a factor that influences subjective wellbeing. This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and subjective well-being in Psychology Students at the Islamic University of Riau. The number of subjects in this study were 284 people, with the sampling technique used, namely Simple Random Sampling. Research data were obtained using a psychological scale, namely the social support scale, the subjective well-being scale, and the PANAS scale. The data analysis used in this study is a regression analysis technique. The results of the analysis showed a significant relationship between social support and subjective well-being in adolescents with a significance of -0.322, the normality test on the scale of social support and subjective well-being in this study was stated to be normally distributed with sig 0.109 p> 0.05. This means that the higher the social support, the higher the subjective well-being of adolescents. The contribution of social support to subjective well-being is 32.2%.
