Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT AND THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LEARNING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT TASYA MILLENIA FERNANDA 188110195 FACULTY OF PSICHOLOGY RIAU ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY ABSTRACT Learning is one important aspect to achieve success in the learning process. Success in the learning process is said to be effective if the teacher can provide learning as interesting as possible and easily understood by students, not only that the teacher must be ale to manage the class well, so that when the learning process takes place it can be carried out effectively. Class management given by the teacher to students such as arranging seats, adjusting the lighting that enters the class, facilitating facilities and infrastructure in the class. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between classroom management and learning effectiveness for elementary school student. This study used a correlational involving 150 student in West Pasaman using incidental sampling techniques. The research data was collected using a scale of learning effectiveness and classroom management. The statistical analysis used is the pearson product moment correlation where the results of the analysis show a value of r = 0.527 with a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This study shows that there is a significant positive relationship between classroom management and the effectiveness of learning in elementary school student. This means that the better the classroom management given by the teacher, the higher the effectiveness of learning given by the teacher to students.
