Abstract
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAMILY WITH SOCIAL SUPPORT SELF REGULATION IN LEARNING IN SCHOOL STUDENTS VOCATIONAL SCHOOL NURUL KHOFIFAH 188110106 ABSTRACT Education in Indonesia in the scope of Asia, Indonesia ranks last out of 12 countries in the field of education quality. This proves the low selfregulation in student learning. There are several factors that cause this to happen, one of which is familysocial support. The purpose of this study was to determine whether thereis a relationship between family social support and self-regulation in learning. The research subjects were 207 students at SMKN X Rimba Melintang. The sampling technique uses stratified sampling. The data collection method used the Family Social Support scale compiled by Arini (2013) which totaled 27 items and the SelfRegulation Scale in learning compiled by Herawaty (2013) which was modified byresearchers totaling 31 items. Data analysis used the Pearson MomentProduct Correlation Test, the results obtained were a significant relationship witha correlation coefficient of r = 0.437 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05) where positive results were obtained between the two variables. The higher the family social support, thehigher self-regulation in learning.
