Abstract
Happiness is closely related to positive emotions, but humans do not always feel positive feelings all the time. Several events can be perceived as negative and can reduce happiness. This study aims to review the happiness felt by semester V students at the Faculty of Psychology, Islamic University of Riau. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. A total of 65 students (14 male and 51 female) involved in the study were selected through the incidental sampling technique. Students who are involved as research subjects fill out the Happiness Scale via Google Form. The results of this study indicate that the average category of students feels quite happy, where 43 (66.15%) students are in the moderate category, 12 (15.38%) students have a high happiness score, and 10 (18.46%) students, others have low happiness scores. Even though the average student is quite happy, students and related parties, such as universities, need to increase happiness.
