Abstract
Effective and efficient population administration services are the key to good governance. Gunung Toar District, in Kuantan Singingi Regency, faces challenges in providing optimal population administration services. These challenges include slow processes, data errors, inefficient record keeping, and difficulties in public access to these services. To overcome this problem, this study proposes the application of the Waterfall method in developing population administration service applications in Gunung Toar District. The Waterfall method is known as a structured and systematic software development approach. This approach involves a series of linear development stages, from requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, to implementation. This application is expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality of population administration services, as well as facilitate access for the public. By integrating the Waterfall method in the development of population administration service applications in Gunung Toar District, it is expected to provide effective solutions in increasing the efficiency and quality of population administration services. The successful implementation of this application can provide significant benefits for local governments, communities and service users.
