Abstract
The aim of this research is to describe the management of school libraries to support literacy culture in elementary schools. The method used in this research is qualitative with data collection instruments in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The primary data sources in this research are library managers, teachers and students. Secondary data sources in this research are archives and images. Data validity uses source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. With data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained were that school library management at SDN 170 Pekanbaru had carried out planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. Obtained from the results of library managers creating activity programs to support literacy culture, namely library visit programs, madding filling programs, talent display programs, and reading corner programs.
