Abstract
This study aimed to determine the interaction and main effects of Kasgot organic fertilizer and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer on the growth and yield of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moenc). The experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, located at Jln. Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. from July to October 2022, spanning four months. This research utilized a Two-Factor Completely Randomized Factorial Design. The first factor is the dose of organic fertilizer for cassava, which consists of four levels: 0, 0.75, 1.5, and 2.25 kg per plot. The second variable is NPK 16:16:16, which consists of four levels: 0, 3.75, 7.5, and 11.75 grams per plant. Each treatment combination was replicated three times, each experimental unit contained four plants, and two plants served as observation samples. According to the findings of this study, the interaction between organic cassava fertilizer and NPK 16:16:16 had a significant impact on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant. Organic cassava fertilizer 1.5 kg/plot and NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 11.75 g/plant are the most effective treatments. The best treatment was 1.5 kg of organic cassava fertilizer per plot, which had the most significant effect on all observation parameters. The principal effect of NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 on all observation parameters is real, and NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 11.75 g/plant is the best possible treatment. Nutrient absorption N, P, and K trough the application of cassava organic fertilizer 1,50 kg/plot and NPK 16:16:16 11,75 g/plant was higher than the other treatments.
