Abstract

The financial performance of a company is a formal effort that has been carried out by the company which can measure the company's success in generating profits, so that it can see the prospects, growth and potential for good development of the company by relying on existing resources. This research aims to determine and analyze the financial performance of Cosmetics Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using financial ratios and common sizes. The research results show that financial ratios include the Current ratio, Net Profit Margin, Total Assets Turn Over and Debt to Equity Ratio, while the common size is seen from the balance sheet report. This research uses a quantitative approach research method. The population of this research is household equipment sub- sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2020-2021. The sample was determined based on the Purposive Sampling method, with a sample of 6 companies. This research uses secondary data about financial reports. Data collection techniques use documentation methods via the official IDX website: www.idx.co.id. This method is used to find out how a company's capabilities or performance are based on the results of the accounts in the ratio and balance sheet. Based on the results of the analysis of the Cosmetics Company's financial reports, after looking at the changes that occurred in its financial report accounts, it shows that the condition is not good.
