Abstract

This paper aims to analyze educational policies in Islamic educational institutions in Sudan. This country is experiencing conflicts and crises that have an impact on various aspects of people's lives, especially the education aspect which has hampered education for most children. This research method is library research by collecting data from related books and articles using an analytical method, namely descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that education in Sudan is free and compulsory for all children aged 6 to 13 years. In the field of formal education, Sudan has several leading universities that are decades or even hundreds of years old. Then in the field of non-formal education there are several scientific assemblies that apply the talaqqi system through the Masyakhs. For education financing, besides being obtained from state money, it is also obtained from the Waqf system policy with waqf management called the Islamic Waqf Board which has been given broad authority to regulate and carry out all tasks related to waqf which greatly assists the implementation of education in this country.
