Abstract

This research aims to determine students' perceptions of using the internet as a biology learning resource for class XII SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru for the Academic Year 2022/2023. This research is quantitative descriptive. This research method uses a survey method. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The sample in this study was 108 people, taken from class XII students of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru for the Academic Year 2022/2023. The questionnaire distributed consisted of 27 statement items consisting of 2 assessment aspects with 7 indicators. Based on the research results, the intensity assessment aspect has a sufficient category with a percentage of 73.84% and the usefulness assessment aspect has a good category with a percentage of 84.11%. It can be concluded that students' perceptions of using the internet as a learning resource for class XII biology at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru for the Academic Year 2022/2023 are in the good category with an average percentage of 80.69%.
