Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workload and work conflict on employee performance at the Ukui Public Health Center, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive and analytical approach. The research sample consists of 44 civil servant employees at the Public Health Center, selected using the purposive sampling technique, with data analysis carried out using descriptive quantitative methods. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires that were tested for validity and reliability using the SPSS application. The results of the study indicate that workload has a significant effect on employee performance, where excessive workload tends to decrease productivity and work efficiency. Work conflict also has a negative effect on performance, although it is not significant. Simultaneous analysis shows that workload and work conflict together have a significant effect on employee performance.
