Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine and observe the role of the Village Head in physical development seen from the aspects of the duties, authorities and obligations of the Village Head in Bannangsta Village in Bannangsta District, Bannangsta Regency, Jala Province, South Thailand and inhibiting factors. The problem in infrastructure development is the ineffectiveness of the duties of the Village Head in Bannangsta in Bannangsta District, Bannangsta Regency, Jala Province, South Thailand in the field of development and equalization of facilities and infrastructure, this can be seen from the development that has been programmed is still not realized. The method used is descriptive and qualitative; Key informants are Phuyai Ban (Village Head), Lekha Phu Yai Ban (Village Secretary), Sthaban Muban (Village Institution), Huana Prachacon Muban (Community Leader) and Prachacon Muban (RW Head). Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that the Role of the Village Head in the Development of Muban Bannangstawithi Tambon Bannangsta Amphe Bannangsta is quite good, this can be seen, the duties of the Village Head in the Development of Muban Bannangstawithi Tambon Bannangsta Amphe Bannangsta the program activities implemented have been realized, this is evidenced by the physical development of the village, such as the Construction of Retaining Walls, Construction of Fences and Multipurpose Buildings are ready to be implemented and felt by the community, it's just that there is a lack of coordination with the village apparatus so that the Village Head seems authoritarian.
