Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine differences in student learning outcomes using the Think Pair share (TPS) cooperative learning model and the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type in class X class X SMA YLPI Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all class X SMA YLPI Pekanbaru, which consisted of three classes with a total of 66 students. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely experimental class 1 and experimental class 2. The data collection technique in this study was in the form of a test. Data analysis techniques in this study used data processing techniques for student learning outcomes. From the t-test analysis of the similarities of the two variances, we get Fcount (19.21) and Ftable (9.10) and a significant level of 0.05. In order to obtain Fcount > Ftable, it can be said that the two classes have different variances. Then a test of the similarity of the two data was carried out so that tcount (81.2) and ttable (38.02) obtained tcount > ttable. Thus it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes between experimental class 1 which applies the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model ( TPS) with experimental class 2 which applies the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model.
