Abstract
Civil infrastructure over time experiences damage and decreases in performance, especially on bridges. If the bridge is damaged, the operation of the bridge will be greatly affected. To prevent premature damage to the arch bridge, in this study a study was conducted to analyze the shape mode of the arch bridge. Early detection of structural damage is of course very important, because action can be taken so that it no longer becomes dangerous in the future The method used in this research is Operational Modal Analysis (OMA). This method is also called the Ambient Vibration Test which is a method for estimating the dynamic characteristics of a structure (natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping ratio) based on the vibrations generated from the operational conditions of the structure itself. By recording the vibration of the structure when operating using the accelerometer, then post-processing it using FEMtools MPE to process the operational vibration signal of the structure into modal parameters (natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping ratio). The research data was recorded using an accelerometer sensor with eight measurement points on the bridge floor plate and eight points on the bridge frame. The recorded data was processed using the FEMtools software. Based on the analysis carried out, there were four types of shape modes that occurred in direct research and twelve types of shape modes that occurred in the pre-test of the UIR curved bridge.
