Abstract
Kampar Regency includes an area with an area of approximately 1,128,928 Ha, which is an area traversed by a large river, which is called the Kampar River. Bangkinang kota sub-district is a sub-district in Kampar Regency which consists of 2 sub-districts. The sub-districts in Bangkinang kota are Bangkinang and Langgini sub-districts. This study aims to calculate raw water needs and calculate the capacity of the reservoir. The population analysis uses the geometric method. Analysis of raw water needs is obtained by calculating the projected number of residents and existing public facilities. The evapotranspiration analysis uses the penman method. The reservoir capacity analysis is calculated after knowing the amount of water needed (Vu), the amount of evaporation in dry season (Ve), amount of infiltration (Vi), and sediment space (Vs). From the results of a population of 37,770 people, the raw water requirement in Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency is 0.04805 m3/sec. Analysis of evapotranspiration with an average value of 3.59 mm/day, while the capacity based on water demand is 169.515,066 m3. So that the total capacity of the breech reservoir is only sufficient by 73% in 2022.
