Abstract

Relational understanding is very important for students because it shows the ability to form a network of concepts that are interconnected so that they can produce conceptual knowledge where students can understand and understand the steps in working on math problems. This cannot be separated from students' self-confidence in their ability to do/overcome a situation and believe in success which is called self-efficacy.
