Abstract

This study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of class XI MIPA students through a jigsaw cooperative learning model. This research was conducted from July to August 2022 which is located at SMAN 1 Tembilahan Hulu. The subjects in this study were 36 students of class XI MIPA 1 consisting of 22 girls and 12 boys. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 meetings. The data collection technique used was a learning achievement test in the form of LKPD, daily test sheets in the form of 20 objective questions and 5 essay questions, quizzes and homework. From the results of data analysis of students' initial learning outcomes, it showed that students who scored ?75 were 20 people with a classical completeness percentage of 55.55%. In the implementation of the first cycle, there were 22 students who obtained cognitive scores ?75 with a classical completeness percentage of 61.11%. In the implementation of cycle II, there were 35 students who obtained cognitive scores ?75 with a classical completeness percentage of 97.22%. The results showed that there was an increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes by using the e-jigsaw tip cooperative learning model in class XI MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Tembilahan Hulu.
