Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how village assets are managed by the government of Tandan Sari Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. The type of research in this thesis is a qualitative descriptive research method in which this research explores and analyzes to give meaning and significance in solving problems. The data sources used are primary data, namely research in the form of interviews, documentation and observation and secondary data obtained by interviews in research on village asset management by the village government of Tandan Sari, Tapung, Downstream District, Kampar Regency. Based on the results of research conducted by the author, it can be seen that Village Asset Management in Tandan Sari Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency has not run optimally, namely in recording asset inventory and maintenance of existing assets. As for some of the inhibiting factors in asset management by the village government of Tandan Sari, Tapung Downstream sub-district, Kampar district, namely the delay in the regent's regulation which became a guideline for the village government in preparing plans, there are still many people who do not attend deliberations in making plans, the lack of optimal performance of asset managers in recording inventory of assets and maintenance is carried out not comprehensively so that there are assets that cannot be utilized properly.
