Abstract

This study aims to determine how the ANDONG (ANTERIN DONG) service innovation is at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pekanbaru City and what are the inhibiting factors in the innovation of ANDONG (ANTERIN DONG) services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pekanbaru City. The problem faced is that the ANDONG service system experiences several obstacles, including not all people use payments via OVO so that they need payment services via Dana, Bank Transfer and others, and server downtime often occurs on the ANDONG service. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The conclusion of the study shows that the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pekanbaru City has an important role in coordinating and controlling the implementation of government affairs in the Population and Civil Registration sector such as making KTP, KIA and so on. In order to facilitate the public in making KTP and KIA, the Population and Civil Registration Service of Pekanbaru City has created a service called ANDONG. So far, the public who can use the ANDONG service are those who are able to use Android phones, but on the other hand, there are some people who are unable to use the ANDONG service because they are technologically illiterate.
