Abstract

One of the risks that often occurs in oil palm is the post-harvest risk, which is the decrease in the yield of FEB from each post-harvest chain that it passes. The purpose of this study is to: (1) Know sources of results loss post-harvest each firm after the harvest; (2) Knowing size of the FFB yields of oil palm farmers that have been received by the chain from the farmer (harvest) to the final processing; (3) FFB and post-harvest loss status received by farmers. Used method is a survey, sampling technique by simple random sampling amounted to 30 farmers, analysis used are qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis, Z-score, Var (value on risk), status and risk mapping. The results showed; (1) Sources included harvesting techniques, resources humans in this case are harvesters, cleanliness of plantation land as well as cleanliness of the collecting area (TPH), the quality of fruit is not in accordance with the needs of the palm oil mill. (2) Total production of FFB by 1.01% in oil palm consisted of (left behind) on the plate, 1.92% on checking raw FFB in TPH, 0.76% loose leaf on TPH and 2.01% on factory sorting (PKS). (3) The impact caused by the total post-harvest loss of FFB is Rp.455,718.11 per month/2 ha.
