Abstract

Underage marriage is a form of marriage that is not in accordance with what is idealized bythe applicable provisions, namely the existing legislation provides an age limit for marriage. The main problem is the factors causing early marriage and its influence on the divorce rate. In the legal area of the Pekanbaru City Religious Court, it is reviewed based on Law Number1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and the impact of young marriage on the lives of adolescents in general and young women in particular. The research method used is observational research, namely by means of a survey, meaning that the researcher directly conducts research at the research location by using interviews and using questionnaires or questionnaires. while the nature of this research is descriptive. Factors that cause marriage at a young age and itsinfluence on the divorce rate in the jurisdiction of the religious court of Pekanbaru City reviewed based on Law Number I of 1974 concerning marriage are due to several factors, namely economic factors, educational factors, parents' factors to marry off their children, media factors mass and the internet which is very easy to access everything related to sex and such. then biological factors, and Factors Pregnant Out of wedlock. the impact of young marriage on the lives of adolescents in general and young women can cause things such as economic difficulties, domestic violence. The impact on the health and wellbeing of mothersas well as on children resulting from young marriages.
