Abstract

One of the problems faced by the children at the Fajar Harapan Orphanage is the loss of affection from their parents from an early age, so they do not get their rights as a child based on RI Law Number 23 of 2020 Article 14 that every child has the right to be cared for by his parents. This situation causes children to become stressed in orphanages. The factor causing the children to be in the Fajar Harapan Orphanage is the low economic factor of their parents, orphans, or orphans. One of the efforts made to reduce the level of stress experienced by orphanage children is to provide community service by providing psychoeducation and play therapy. The purpose of this service is to have the ability to coping strategies in dealing with the problems faced and with play therapy can reduce stress. This community service activity was attended by orphanage children. The method used is to provide psychoeducation and play therapy to orphanage children and to provide a DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) to measure stress levels. The results obtained were a decrease in stress levels, seen from the results of the pre-test an average score of 65.6 to an average post-test score of 34.4. All participants in this community service look happy and enjoy in participating in the games given. This community service activity will continue in the future because it is very useful in helping to deal with the problems of the children at the Fajar Harapan orphanage.
