Abstract

Students at state Senior High School Kuantan Mudik Kuansing, the dedication partner of this association, have a lack of performance motivation in achieving their purpose in life. This is seen in their still low interest in continuing education at a college outside the district of Kuantan Singingi. Therefore, there needs to be an effort to improve the motivation of the students' achievements by organizing achievement motivation training. This community dedication uses the concept of Achievement Motivation Training by McClelland and Alschuler, which consists of cultivating a mindset through material delivery, self-study through completion of learning strategy tests, goal setting and priorities, as well as reflection and selfevaluation, the results of which will eventually be measured through pre-test and post-test comparisons. The subjects in this study were 50 schoolchildren. The stages of this community service are carried out in several stages. The first phase is the preparatory phase before the commitment to the initial survey of the partners' problems and discussions of the problems faced. The second stage is the implementation of community service by providing training and achievement motivation, and the third stage is evaluation. The results of community service activities went well, and there was an increase in student performance and motivation in learning.
