Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of academic service quality and institutional image on student selection decisions of private Islamic universities in Pekanbaru City. Data collection using an online google form questionnaire that has been distributed to 200 students of private Islamic universities in Pekanbaru City. Then the findings of this study have a positive and significant influence on the quality of academic services and the image of the institution on the student selection decision of private Islamic universities in Pekanbaru City. The quality of academic services and the image of the institution are considered important in attracting prospective students in making decisions to study at one of the private Islamic universities in Pekanbaru City.
