Abstract
The current trend of migrating has also become a phenomenon in the world of Pekanbaru City Banking. The desire to emigrate can be seen from the number of employees who decide to resign from their jobs. The main factor is the spiritual motivation that requires every Muslim to be bound by Islamic law. In work, it is obligatory to only seek what is lawful and leave what is forbidden by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Meanwhile, working in conventional banking is contrary to Islamic law, because transactions use an interest scheme (usury). Some are of the opinion that in Sharia Banking it is doubtful with usury. Riba is absolutely forbidden based on the texts, both the Koran and the Sunnah. For this reason, this study aims to find out "whether migrating has an effect on employee resignation in Pekanbaru City Banking." Research data collection used a quantitative method, by distributing questionnaires to 48 banking employees who resigned from their jobs. Analysis of the research data used simple linear regression with SPSS 25. The results of the t-test showed that emigration had a positive and significant effect on the decision to resign for banking employees in Pekanbaru City. It is known from the value of Sig < Alpha, which is 0.030 < 0.05. That is, the more people want to emigrate, the higher their desire to resign to work in banking.
