Abstract

A Village-Owned Enterprise is a village institution that is managed directly by the village government and community in an effort to improve the village economy and community in an effort to improve the village economy and village potential. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the Village Head in developing village income sources through Village-Owned Enterprises in Muara Dilam Village, Kuntodarusalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency along with the inhibiting factors. The problem in this thesis is that the village head has not been optimal in developing village income sources through Village-Owned Enterprises so that some business units have stopped. The type of research in writing this thesis is a qualitative descriptive research method where this research explores and analyzes to provide meaning and significance in solving problems. The data collected is in the form of words, images, and not numbers. So that in this way an explanation and description of the research topic can be obtained in accordance with the research title. This writing consists of primary data, namely research in the form of interviews, documentation and observations and secondary data obtained namely the results of interviews in research. The results of this research are that the Head of Muara Dilam Village in carrying out his role as supervisor of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) has not been implemented properly in trying to provide suggestions and opinions regarding the management of VillageOwned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Muara Dilam Village which are marked by business units savings and loans are closed, then as of now all business units have closed and are not operating. The suggestion for this is to hold educational and training activities for each member of BUMDes to increase the innovation and creativity of members who have not yet been seen in creating business breakthroughs and services to the community. Increase coordination between related agencies. Participate in the community as a whole in developing sources of income. village through village-owned enterprises in Muara Dilam Village, Kuntodarusalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency
