Abstract
This study aims to investigate how the village fund management is carried out in Gading Sari Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency to ensure accountability and transparency. The research employs a qualitative method and utilizes qualitative descriptive techniques for data analysis, which involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of village fund management in accordance with the principles of accountability in the planning, execution, administration, reporting, and accountability stages has been effectively conducted and can be considered accountable as Pemendagri No. 20 of 2018. The principle of transparency in Gading Sari Village is in accordance with the Pemendagri No. 20 of 2018. Research findings also show the need to increase the efforts of the Gading Sari Village Government in educating the community regarding village fund management. This will encourage greater active participation in village deliberations to prevent potential suspicion or disagreement between the community and the village government in managing village funds. Also, there is a need to provide a village government website to facilitate public access to information regarding village government administration.
