Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' interest in learning Physical Education class X1 MIPA 1 SMA NEGERI 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study was students of Class X1 MIPA 1 SMA NEGERI 1 Pekanbaru, totaling 36 students. The sample technique is a saturated sample with a sample of 36 students. The indicators of interest in learning in the questionnaire are divided into 4 indicators, namely: 1) feeling happy, 2) student interest, 3) attention, 4) student involvement. The number of initial statements was designed to be 60 statement items and after the validity test became 49 statement items. The results of this study are students' interest in learning Physical Education in class X1 MIPA 1 SMA NEGERI 1 Pekanbaru with an average of 75% in the strong category.
