Abstract

This study aimed to study the implementation of learning arts in VIII-1 SMPN 1 Bandar Seikijang Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. This study used a theory developed by Mulyasa regarding 2013 curriculum components consisting of learning objectives, learning materials, learning methods, learning media, learning resources, learning procedures, and learning evaluation. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with observation of pre-determined respondents. The results of this study were the implementation of Zapin dance creation of class VIII-1 SMPN 1 Bandar Seikijang Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 which had been implemented quite well. The curriculum used was the 2013 curriculum. The author saw that the RPP used by the teacher consists of 4 meetings. Regarding the learning material or content used by teachers for dance subjects, the teacher teaches about Zapin creative dance, which was in accordance with the syllabus and lesson planed that have been designed. Regarding dance creation material, the teacher teaches Zapin creation dance. The learning media used by the teacher are using the facilities and infrastructure in schools such as laptop and projector contributions and loudspeakers or speakers, but with support there are still some teachers who are unable to manage learning using technology available in schools, learning resources used by teachers who teach that is by using textbooks that are in accordance with the 2013 curriculum and also using other learning resources such as searching for references on the internet. The learning procedure consists of 8 meetings in accordance with the lesson plans that have been designed and compiled at the last meeting that was made with agreement or what is called evaluation. In evaluation, there were 3 categories of assessment based on cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects.
