Abstract

The Regional Government of Pelalawan Regency through the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) has provided an attendance system for Civil Servants (ASN) and honorary workers within the Pelalawan Regency Government using an android-based online system called the Online Personnel Information System (SIKO). since July 2021. The Online Personnel Information System (SIKO) can be downloaded through the Play Store from an Android phone, the Web-Based Online Personnel Information System (SIKO) is combined with the Personnel Management information system (SIMPEG) to provide faster, more precise and accurate information to all representatives within the Pelalawan Regency Government. The SIKO attendance system is a system used to determine employee attendance using the face detection method and share location. The SIKO attendance application can be integrated so that recorded attendance information can be entered into the SIMPEG application automatically. However, in its implementation it was assessed that it could not run effectively and efficiently. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The research data were obtained from various representative informants in the Regional Government of Pelalawan Regency. In this study, data collection techniques were interviews, documentation studies and direct observation. This study looks at the effect of implementing attendance with the SIKO application work system by way of face detection and share location and various influencing variables. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact on the application of face detection attendance and share location on the performance discipline of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Pelalawan Regency Government Transportation Service. The results of the study show that the application of the SIKO application by means of face detection attendance and share location still found several obstacles, namely a weak Internet signal, State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and Honorary Officers at the Pelelawan Regency Transportation Service will be able to experience difficulties in carrying out attendance attendance if they be somewhere that doesn't have a strong signal.
