Abstract

The service for installing a new KWH meter at PLN has not provided satisfaction for the community due to the slow completion of the KWH meter installation. PLN services in Taluk Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency have not set service standards so that it has an impact on community satisfaction. The success of the KWH New Installation service is inseparable from Justice, Convenience, Caring, Reliability, Convenience, and Trust. The purpose of this study was to determine the inhibiting factors in public services at the State Electricity Company (PLN) Taluk Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency (Study of Installing a New KWH Meter). The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Discussion The installation service for the new KWH meter in the Taluk Kuantan sub-district has not been carried out according to standard operating procedures so that it has not provided satisfaction for the community requesting the installation of a new KWH. It was concluded that the service for installing new KWH meters in Taluk Kuantan District had not run optimally according to standard operating procedures this is due to the lack of officers in installing the KWH meter and supporting infrastructure in achieving KWH meter installation. The researcher's suggestion is that PLN Taluk in Kuantan Regency increase the number of KWH meter installation officers, provide infrastructure to support the achievement of KWH installation services.
