Abstract

The implementation of CSR is an obligation for companies in accordance with the mandate of Law no. 40 of 2007. This is what drives PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai to implement CSR programs, especially for people who are directly affected by company activities. The problem found is that the activities of PT Pertamina RU II Dumai have an impact on people's lives in Tanjung Palas Village. So that PT Pertamina RU II Dumai, in this case, has implemented a CSR program called the Agricultural Program on Peatlands. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PT Pertamina RU II Dumai's CSR on Community Welfare. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Research data is primary data collected by using a questionnaire. The research sample was 20 people. The analysis tool is SPSS statistic 17. The results of the study are that there is an influence of the CSR Program variable (X) on the Welfare of the Community (Y), with the strength of the influence of the independent variable (CSR Program) on the dependent variable (Community Welfare) is 46.8%, the rest is equal to 53.2% influenced by other independent variables. Or it can be said that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So the conclusion is: The CSR program implemented by PT Pertamina RU II Dumai has a significant and significant impact on the welfare of the community (Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected). The recommendations in this study are an increase in the implementation of CSR programs from the company and the supervision of the government in the implementation of this CSR program.
