Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the impact of social interaction of sexual violence is represented in the film 2037. This research uses a qualitative content study with John Fiske's semiotic analysis with 3 stages of representation, in the first stage is reality consisting of costumes, behavior, expressions and environment . At this stage the victim tends to be alone, looks sad and gloomy. Then the second stage is representation which consists of shooting techniques based on angle and camera techniques based on distance. In the film 2037, the majority of shots are medium shots and eye level angles. The third stage is ideology, looking at the social interactions that occur with victims of sexual violence. The social interaction that emerges is in the form of a process of association and dissociation. The results of this research explain that sexual violence has a huge impact on victims so that it can cause prolonged stress and trauma, besides that victims of sexual violence will hurt themselves and even try to end their lives.
