Abstract

Uploading information on the prohibition of using scuba masks on the Kumparancom Instagram account received a high response from netizens. The purpose of the researchers conducting this research was to determine the opposition in comments on uploading information on the prohibition of using scuba masks on Instagram @Kumparancom. The research used quantitative content analysis theory, public sphere theory, and Opposition by Stuart Hall. The research method used is quantitative. The results found were comments from netizens of 58% with 105 comments. On average, the content of the opposition netizens in their comments stated that the posting of information on the prohibition of using scuba masks on the Instagram @Kumparancom was not true and was deliberately carried out with the aim of making the medical mask business sell out again.
