Abstract
This thesis discusses the aesthetic value of Bugis Bridal Clothing (Bodo Clothes) on Kijang Island, Reteh District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Province. Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy that examines and discusses art and beauty as well as human responses to them. Aesthetics is part of philosophy or beauty. The problem in this research is the aesthetic value of the Bugis bride's clothing (bodo clothes) on Kijang Island, Reteh District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Province. The theory that researchers use is the theory of aesthetic value by Darsono Sony Kartika. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this research conclude that the beauty of the Bugis bride's clothing can be seen from the Unity, Harmony, Symmetry, Balance and Contrast found in the traditional bugis tribe
