Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of dolomite and hormax growth regulators on the growth and production of soybean plants in peat media. The research was carried out at the UIR FP Experimental Garden, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City from July to October 2022. The design used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was the dose of Dolomite (D) consisting of 4 treatment levels namely: 0, 40, 80, 120 g per polybag. The second factor was the concentration of ZPT Hormax (H) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely: 0, 3, 6 and 9 ml per l of water. Observational data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then it is continued with a further test of the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. Parameters observed were soil pH, plant height, number of effective root nodules, flowering age, harvest age, percentage of fruitful pods, dry weight of seeds per plant, and weight of 100 dry seeds. The results showed that the interaction effect of dolomite lime and ZPT Hormax was significant for all observed parameters. The best treatment was a combination of 120 g dolomite lime per polybag and 9 ml Hormax ZPT per liter of water. The main effect of real dolomitic lime on all observation parameters. The best treatment is dolomite lime 120 g per polybag. The main effect of ZPT Hormax is real on all observation parameters. The best treatment was ZPT Hormax 9 ml per liter of water.
