Abstract
This study was conducted in Kampung Baru Ibul Village, Pucuk Rantau District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The researcher intends to know the suitability of the application of Accounting to Kampung Baru Ibul Village with the General Acceptable Accounting Principles. In this study the authors used the Qualitative Descriptive method by comparing between existing practices and theories, the data collection techniques used interviews, documentation, and observation. Kampung Baru Ibul Village, Pucuk Rantau District, did not calculate the shrinkage of fixed assets, there was a mistake of transferring fixed asset balances and at the end of the Kampung Baru Ibul Village government period did not calculate the remaining inventory balance. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of Financial Accounting to Kampung Baru Ibul Village, Pucuk Rantau District, Kuantan Singingi Regency is not fully in accordance with the General Accepted Accounting Principles.
