Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and determine the extent of implementation of management control for floating net cages in Lake Maninjau by the Regional Government of Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The location of this research is Lake Maninjau, Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency, at the Agam Regency Fisheries and Food Security Service. Control of the management of floating net cages in Lake Maninjau, Agam Regency is carried out by the Environmental Service, Food Security and Fisheries Service, Head of Tanjung Raya District, Satpol PP Agam Regency and also the KJA Owner and the community around the Lake Maninjau area. The role of each party has been carried out with reference to applicable regional regulations and policies. Lake Maninjau is a form of natural wealth in Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province which is the main focus of the regional government which has the authority and policy to implement monitoring of its damage and pollution. In the context of monitoring and controlling the sustainability of Lake Maninjau, there are activities to control and monitor pollution and damage, one of which is the management of floating net cages. The aim of the Lake Maninjau area management policy is to produce a clean, sustainable, cultural and sustainable lake area, while the management function of the Maninjau Lake area is to preserve natural resources and the welfare of residents in an equitable and sustainable manner. The results of the research show that the Evaluation of the Implementation of Management Control of Floating Net Cages in Lake Maninjau by the Regional Government of Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province was carried out by looking at effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, responsiveness and accuracy.
