Abstract

Unemployment graduates are individuals who are experiencing the demands of life in the future and experience a bad psychological condition such as anxiety and depression that causes a sense of hopelessness. This study aims to determine the description of the Quarter Life Crisis in unemployed undergraduate students in Pekanbaru. The subjects in this study were 100 people who were selected by snowball sampling technique. The data collection tool is in the form of a Qls (Quarter Life Crisis) scale consisting of 23 items compiled by Agustin (2012) and has been modified by Habibie (2019) and adapted by Indrawati (2021). The analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that most of the unemployed graduates in Pekanbaru were in the high category, namely 53% with a total of 53 people. Judging from gender, age, and length of unemployment, it was found that there was no significant difference in frequency at each level of the Quarter Life Crisis. This means that the Quarter Life Crisis experienced by unemployed graduates based on gender and length of unemployment are both in the high category. Meanwhile, unemployed graduates by age found that the majority of unemployed graduates who experienced a Quarter Life Crisis were in the very high category.
