Abstract

This study uses two variables, namely the influence of distribution channels as the independent variable (X) and sales volume as the dependent variable (Y). This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of Distribution Channels on Sales Volume at Ud.Zaki Dunia Laut. The hypothesis of this research is that there is an influence of Distribution Channels on Sales Volume at Ud.Zaki Dunia Laut Jl.Hangtuah Duri. To determine the effect of these variables, indicators of the distribution channel variables are used, namely market considerations, product considerations, intermediary considerations, and company considerations. Then indicators on sales volume are achieving sales volume, earning profit, supporting company growth. The data obtained in this study through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. In this study, the researcher used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 94 respondents. Then in the data processing technique used validity, reliability, normality, linearity, heteroscedasticity, simple linear regression, hypothesis testing (T test), determination test (R²). Based on the analysis there is an effect of 78.5% and 21.5% is influenced by other variables that are not taken in this study. However, the leaders of Ud.zaki Dunia Laut jl. Hangtuah Dur are advised to carry out: field survey of distribution to get the right target market and check before the product is marketed, so that there is no minus in the product. As well as carrying out a promotion that is right on target can also benefit all parties such as sellers and buyers by expanding distribution channels, so that the products sold are more increased than before.
