Abstract

ABSTRACT According to SNI 03-2847-2002 concrete is a mixture of hydraulic cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, and water or without additives. Concrete is also very susceptible to cracking, which can affect the durability of concrete buildings, so it is necessary to repair the building and require funds because the damaged material becomes unusable. From the problems that occur, a concrete innovation is carried out that can overcome these problems, namely self-healing concrete which aims to repair concrete cracks independently and fill concrete pores with the production of CaCO3 minerals caused by the bacillus cereus bacteria. This study uses coal fly ash waste as a partial replacement for cement, to reduce the hazard level of B3 waste. It is expected that the use of fly ash in the manufacture of concrete with a mixture produces compressive strength and tensile strength concrete. Based on research on compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete with mixed waste fly ash coal with a percentage of 10% as a partial replacement for cement increased by 24.35 MPa with a percentage increase of 10.73% for the split tensile strength value of concrete which was 0.32 Kg/cm2 with a percentage increase of 18.51%. Compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete with a mixture of waste fly ash coal and bacteria bacillus cereus with a percentage of 10% of the volume of water, the compressive strength of concrete decreased by 18.40 MPa with a decrease percentage of -16.31% and the split tensile strength of concrete increased by 0.29 Kg/cm2 with an increase percentage of 7.41 %. The results of the compressive strength of concrete with the mixture fly ash waste coal with a percentage of 10% as a partial replacement for cement and bacteria bacillus cereus with a percentage of 10% of the volume of water after being cracked, the compressive strength value of normal concrete decreased by 19.53 with a decrease percentage of -11.16%. This proves the effect of waste fly ash and bacteria bacillus cereus effect on cracked concrete. The compressive strength value of concrete after being cracked is higher than that of uncracked concrete. From the test resultsScanning Electronic Microscope In concrete, you can see the difference in concrete added by bacteria bacillus cereus needle-shaped bacterial cells.
