Abstract

ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF CULTURAL ARTS LEARNING (TRADITIONAL DANCE) CLASS VIII.E OF SMPN 2 RENGAT ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021 By: DINI UGA FRAWITA 166710423 This study aims to determine the implementation of cultural arts learning (traditional dance) in class VIII.E of SMPN 2 Rengat for the 2020-2021 academic year. The theory used in this study is regarding the implementation of learning based on the 2013 curriculum which consists of learning objectives, learning methods, learning materials, learning media, and evaluation of assessments (Mulyasa, 2020: 112). The method in this study uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of cultural arts learning (traditional dance) in class VIII.E of SMPN 2 Rengat has been carried out quite well. The curriculum used is the 2013 curriculum. The researcher saw that the lesson plan used by the teacher consisted of 4 meetings. Regarding the material or learning content used by the teacher for this dance subject, the teacher teaches about traditional dance where this is in accordance with the syllabus and lesson plans that have been designed. The learning media used by the teacher is by utilizing school facilities and infrastructure such as the availability of laptops and projectors as well as loudspeakers or speakers while teachers are less able to utilize technological devices as in the 2013 curriculum learning should be scientific while teachers only use sober material. The implications for teachers who teach are to be able to create more techniques or strategies in the teaching and learning process which aim to achieve a fun teaching and learning process that is far from boredom. The teacher can also give the maximum during the teaching and learning process so that students don't feel bored and learning is much more fun.
