Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the facilities and infrastructure for physical education, sports and health subjects studied at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru and SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. The researcher used a survey method by using an observation sheet as a data collection tool to record the results of the survey conducted by the researcher. Based on analysis of research data from a survey of physical education, sports and health facilities, it can be concluded that at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru, the facilities and infrastructure for physical education, sports and health are still inadequate at the school. Such as gymnastic equipment in the very less than ideal category with a percentage of 0%, volleyball equipment in the quite ideal category with a percentage of 50%, athletic equipment in the quite ideal category with a percentage of 60%, football equipment in the very ideal category with a percentage of 83.33%, and basketball equipment in the very ideal category. very ideal category with a percentage of 100%. Meanwhile at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu the number of gymnastics equipment in the less than ideal category with a percentage of 25%, athletic equipment in the ideal category with a percentage of 80%, volleyball equipment in the very ideal category with a percentage of 100%, football equipment in the very ideal category with a percentage of 100%, and equipment category basketball is ideal with a percentage of 100%.
