Abstract

This study aims to examine published articles on the theme of STAD in physical education learning. Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) is a cooperative learning method that involves students directly in the learning process. In the last 5-10 years, STAD learning methods are often used to increase motivation and solve problems in learning. This type of research is a literature study. This study discusses the meaning of STAD, the advantages and disadvantages of the STAD learning method. The results of this study reveal that STAD has advantages and disadvantages in its application in physical education learning. The results of this study are expected to become a reference and as a theoretical basis for further research in solving a learning problem and increasing student motivation in the physical education learning process.
